Self-Intro, Project Explanation & TEDx Insights
Today, I focused on how to introduce myself confidently and explain my final year project effectively for interviews. I also learned from TEDx talks how to communicate ideas clearly and engage the audience.
What I Learned Today
- Self-Introduction for Interviews
Learned how to structure my self-intro: Name → Background → Skills → Achievements → Career Goal.
Practiced delivering a concise and confident 30-second self-intro.
- Explaining My Final Year Project
Project Title: Retinal Disease Detection and Diagnosis using Machine Learning (CNN + ResNet)
Problem Statement: Early detection of retinal diseases can prevent vision loss. Our system detects and diagnoses diseases automatically.
Technologies Used: CNN for image processing, ResNet for enhanced accuracy.
My Role: Data preprocessing, model training, ResNet integration, and testing.
Project Modules:
Data Collection
Preprocessing
Model Training
Disease Classification
Result Visualization
Reporting & Diagnosis
Why I Chose This Project: I wanted to work on something that combines AI and healthcare to create real-world impact.
- TEDx Learning
Learned how to structure ideas, use storytelling, and explain technical topics in a simple and engaging way.
✨ Takeaway: Storytelling + technical clarity = strong impression in interviews.
