Even tho this sounds a little aggressive, I have to agree on the fact that windows is getting to a point that one may need a really powerful machine to accomplish things without suffering the ram consumption that Windows can bring to our life as developers, I'm really inclined to linux for software development.
I think it’s just a joke. If you open a window, air flows in from outside, making it colder, like an air conditioner. The operating system should explain itself.
I'm running windows in 2 gb RAM and doesn't feel any slower.
