Welcome to the Reconcept Dev Blogs.
This is the start of a series where we will explain how the development of our Portfolio platform unfolds.
We will discuss smaller solutions, as well as larger projects and how we approached them. Additionally, we would like to share interesting things we have come across as developers.
We are also administrators of the Frontend Developers Groningen meetup. We strive to organize a meetup once per quarter to share knowledge and connect with fellow developers.
About Reconcept
At Reconcept, we create a Portfolio platform focused on medical education. The Portfolio provides the ability to capture practical feedback and link it to various topics such as skills or themes.
We have split the platform into different applications:
- Portfolio, the main application
- Login, a separate login application for OAuth
- Support, our backoffice
- Portfolio App, a mobile version available in the App Stores
- Quality Dashboard, an additional application for ensuring education quality through the PDCA cycle.
Tech Stack
The frontend(s) are built with Angular, with Ionic for the mobile app.
The backend is built with Ruby on Rails.
