Hi Nicholas, there's currently no way to do that. If you think about it allowing general embedding of untrusted content could lead to potential security problems.

You can request a new one opening an issue on the repository, but I think that you should go the route of using listings for promotional content. You can find a few newsletters already in the "Misc" category

What about allowing embedding of MailChimp or Upscribe form ?
So, currently the embedding is achieved through what we call "liquid tags". There are a bunch of them here github.com/thepracticaldev/dev.to/...
