Why can't you start work even though you plan every day? Do you know the real reason?

Plan every day, but can't start work? Then the problem is not your will, the problem is the way your brain works.
Understand one thing. People naturally avoid difficult or uncertain tasks. This is not a problem of motivation, it's biology. When you start something new, your head first calculates, what are the problems here, is there a chance of failure here. If there is even a little uncertainty, then the brain gives you a safe option. And that safe option is planning, research, preparation.
This is why you feel comfortable when you sit down to plan. You think you are productive. But in fact, you are doing a job where there is no risk. You are avoiding the pressure that will come when you start real work.
There is another strong reason. Before you start the work, you make it very big in your head. Think that you have to do something good today, give a clean output, go to the level like others. This expectation becomes so high that the beginning feels heavy. Then the brain takes a shortcut. It says, not today, I will start properly from tomorrow.
Here is a real observation. Many studies have shown that when people are faced with a big task, they delay, but if the same task is divided into small parts, then the completion rate increases a lot. This is a well-known pattern in behavioral science. This means that the problem is not your discipline, the problem is that you are making the starting point too big.
Another subtle thing happens. The more you plan, the more it seems that you are already making progress. This is a mental illusion. Because you are giving effort, giving time, so the brain assumes that you are making progress. But no measurable result is happening.
Think of a simple example. You have been collecting resources to learn coding for 5 days, watching tutorials, taking notes. You feel tired, because you have given time. But if you cannot make a small feature by yourself, then there has been no real progress. It is uncomfortable, but this is the reality.
So what is the solution?
You have to start small. So small that it feels shameful not to start.
Not a whole project, just 10 minutes
Not a whole chapter, just 1 problem
Not a whole design, just a section
Because once you start, resistance decreases. According to neuroscience, when action starts, momentum is created in the brain, then it is easy to continue.
Remember one more thing. You will not be confident before you start. Confidence comes after work, not before. Those who cannot start, wait to be confident. Those who move forward, start in a confused state.
Ask yourself an honest question. What have you actually created or completed in the last 7 days? If the answer is โ€œI plannedโ€, then you were busy, not productive.
The last thing is very simple. If you do not start, no strategy, no plan, no motivation will work. No matter how perfect a plan you make, it is of zero value until you take action.
There is no need to make a new plan today. Take a small task, and start now. Because future change is not made with big decisions, but with small starts.
