In my opinion, workplace respect should be more than a policy written in an employee handbook.
Employees need to understand what respectful behavior looks like, how to recognize inappropriate conduct, and where to seek help when something goes wrong.
I believe POSH and workplace compliance training should focus on real situations, not just completing a course.
Organizations can make training more effective by:
Using realistic workplace scenarios.
Explaining reporting procedures clearly.
Helping managers respond appropriately.
Providing regular training and refreshers.
I also think LMS platforms can help organizations organize training and track completion, but technology alone cannot create a respectful workplace. Culture, accountability, and proper support matter just as much.
For me, the real measure of successful training is whether employees feel informed, supported, and confident about their responsibilities.
I explored this topic further in TheEduAssist's guide to workplace respect and POSH compliance for 2026–2027.
