TL;DR; Asking questions about stuff you could find online in minutes is annoying, asking questions about stuff you've researched is great.
IMHO, online communities like Stackoverflow are great learning platform for good questioning skills - but the trick here is trying to answer questions, not just asking them. The more questions you answer, the more you learn first-hand the importance of good preparations for questions, and the better you get at asking questions yourself.
