I can't believe there isn't a Developer's Guide for JAWS. In other words "What the heck do I have to do to make JAWS say 'abc' when doing 'xyz'.
And when do these issues become bugs in screen readers instead potholes for developers? Why can't screen readers read icons added using CSS? If I can see them while inspecting the code, why can't JAWS read them? Why doesn't the screen reader tell the user a link goes to a new site or opens a new window?
