Community Suggestions & AI Visualizations by DunRite: See Your Project Before You Build It

The Power of Community + AI

Every renovation starts with a question: What should I do with this space? The DunRite Community Suggestions feature combines the wisdom of real homeowners with cutting-edge AI image generation so you can explore possibilities before spending a single dollar.

How Community Suggestions Work

Post Your Idea

Head to the Community section and create a new post. Describe the space you want to improve and upload photos of your current setup. Other DunRite members can then browse your post and offer their suggestions.

Collect Replies and Upvotes

Each suggestion reply can be upvoted by the community. The most popular ideas rise to the top, giving you a crowd-sourced shortlist of the best approaches for your specific space and budget.

Request AI Completion Images

On any suggestion reply, you can request an AI-generated visualization showing what your space could look like if that suggestion were implemented. The AI uses your actual photos as context and produces a photorealistic rendering of the finished result.

What the AI Images Show You

  • BEFORE - your current space, labeled for reference
  • POTENTIAL - the AI-rendered vision of the completed project

These side-by-side comparisons make it easy to evaluate ideas visually, share them with family members, or present them to a contractor when requesting bids.

From Community to Build Plan

Once you have found a suggestion you love and seen the AI visualization, you can launch directly into the Build Plan Generator using the AI image as inspiration. The build plan will then generate a full step-by-step renovation roadmap including materials, costs, and contractor requirements based on that visual concept.

Tips for Getting Great Suggestions

  • Upload clear, well-lit photos from multiple angles
  • Include measurements in your description if possible
  • Be specific about your budget range and style preferences
  • Respond to replies to keep the conversation going

The DunRite community is built on the idea that homeowners help each other. Whether you are planning a small bathroom refresh or a full kitchen gut renovation, there is someone who has been through it and can share what worked.
