Apple Creator Studio Adds MCP Support and AI Features

Apple has introduced significant updates to the Apple Creator Studio suite, focusing on AI-driven workflows and developer-friendly integrations.

Key developer-centric updates include:

• Model Context Protocol (MCP) Support: Keynote, Pages, and Numbers now support MCP, allowing external AI agents and tools to interact with document content, perform edits, and automate workflows.
• Keynote Interchange Format (.keyx): A new open JSON-based bundle file format designed for external tools, developer workflows, and AI agent interoperability.
• Logic Pro Intelligent Assistant: Leverages a combination of on-device models and OpenAI to assist with production workflows.
• Pixelmator Pro Generate Fill: Advanced image generation and editing capabilities using natural language processing.

These updates will be available in November as a free update for existing subscribers.
