I had just been very happy for working as a junior developer for a small software developer shop in 2019, after several times changing jobs (including shoe-cleaning job). But now I'm no longer employed after the pandemic conditions. Now I'm taking this unemployment time to practice more about front-end and React like you were, using anything I can afford. I hope one of the employers I applied to ended up hiring me because sometimes it feels worrying when I think about how to survive on my savings that seemingly running low now. Wish me luck :D
