This petition is an important initiative. It is a major step taken by WeDidIt, to spread awareness about the growing mental health problems, mainly among the students. The suicide rates among the students in India have massively increased, thus reflecting to the pressure they go through in their academic career, at such a tender age. Thus, it is an utmost importance to teach people, about this growing issue.
The petition is about making Mental Health awareness mandatory in school, for all the students. It is aim is to attain this, at the earliest, thus the coming generations can enjoy its benefits. It is quite necessary to preach mental health to people, in their youth, so they have a strong foundation in their growing years and thus have a stable mind as they grow into an adult, thus effectively contributing to the development of the society and the country as a whole.
This can massively reduce the crime rates in the future, as it has been many reports the criminal feelings among the adults are usually due to suffering of mental or physical trauma in the formative years.
