Corruption in India is growing rapidly everyday. The book, "The Rotting Public", written by Sree Krishna Seelam looks at corruption in India in an unbiased manner and what we can do in retaliation.
The book exposes how widely corruption has spread in India using real names and real life stories and the deadly consequences of corruption. Every chapter consists of a story that is real and true. An example that comes to mind is the true story of children who died in a hospital because the bill was not paid and whistle blowers murdered for speaking out.
The book explain how the government is failing to provide for its citizens.
So what is the solution? The author asks you to treat the book as a "handbook for rebellion". Where every citizen has the right to fight back against corruption.
The book is written in a manner which is readable by every Indian citizen, from students to a voter, everyone that has the right in this democratic society to change the flawed system.
