Is PHP Dead?

PHP was developed by Rasmus Lardorf in the year 1995. Since then it has powered many scalable websites like Facebook, Harvard University website, CNBC US Home website and many more. Today there arises a lot of controversies against PHP based on its usability, performance, etc.
PHP is indeed not as flexible and powerful as Django but can do a lot. For beginners it is always recommended to start with PHP because intended for beginners. It has limited libraries but when the question comes in Django, Mr. Django keeps more than 5 files ready for you before you get your keyboard set. This reduces the amount of hard work you need to do. But laziness is not recommended for beginners. That's why PHP is the best there. With PHP you get the initial idea of how Backend Web Development works and how to make a good logic building. PHP has a lot amazing features. You will need to write more code than Django or Spring but you will be able learn and understand better with that.
It is always recommended that you first start with PHP and learn the core concepts of Backend Web Development and when you think you are done perfectly with PHP including its OOPs concepts nicely you can shift to other languages and frameworks like Django, Flask, Spring, NodeJS, etc.
PHP was never dead and it will never die. New updates keep coming to PHP making it more powerful day by day. If you ever think to learn PHP then Don't hesitate. Just go for it!
