So I have changed my desk a bit taking inspiration from all of you in the last post.

Dream setup 🤩
Absolutely awesome! I really like dark hardwood floors and in combination with your setup, it just looks like the perfect place to walk to in the morning with a cup of coffee and get productive :)
🤩 wow
I'm really distractable so I try to keep my desk really clear. I need to step up my webcam game and this room could use a little more consistent lighting 😄
That keyboard 🔥
I don't have a picture of my old desk, because it is my new desk 😄
My workstation
Where you buy table. It flat , I love it
Bought from IKEA (Gerton model): ikea.com/us/en/p/gerton-tabletop-b...
😁
Nice! How do you like the ultra wide monitor?
Really cool for dev with 3 windows of code and 1 window of browser
That's pretty cool! I am tempted to get one, right now I use workspaces a lot, but yeah I think I'm going to get me one just to try it out.
Damn 🤩
Also, a see a lot of stickers on laptop there, a closeup?
You can see in a tweet: twitter.com/Kevin_Py/status/106390...
Recently upgraded my chair. At some point in the far future I'll upgrade the monitors and speakers but I've been content with this setup for a while.
I love that Chandra mat <3
The Gaming Vibe
Your new lighting looks sweet! Are you using an iPad with Sidecar? Do you like it? I’m seriously tempted to buy one almost entirely for this 😄
My last experiment was rotating my desk 90 degrees. I’m now facing the wall instead of the window and it de cluttered my camera background a bit, so far I like it.
Fun fact: I'm still using the laptop stand that came with the Cisco 8 port switch I bought a while ago. It's on the list for upgrades 😆
I was using ipad but the screen was small so I started using one of those portable monitors. Check it out
Best thing about this is that it can take power from laptop no additional cable is required.
Also, if you are looking for a stand try MOFT.
Pretty neat! And they’re not pricey now that I just took a look. Great suggestions, thanks!
Anytime :)
I like the chair, can you tell me the brand/model?
Hey Mile, absolutely! Sorry I missed this message of yours
To be honest with you I bought it over in a local hardware store so it's definitely not on the fancy side of the spectrum but I like it, specially compared with what I was using before 😅
It's from Akiro Home & Office Furnishing "AUS027H". It's pretty fresh in hot days (no AC for me), it reclines back and the head rest is comfortable.
I am an artist as well besides the developer so I decorated it like this. 😊
It’s so beautiful 🤩
thank you! ❤️
I went full time WFH this year, so I started getting my home office in order since then. My desk is from a reclaimed bowling alley lane, and I have it on an adjustable standing desk. I am quite happy with it.
What’s the story of that Glass there 😮
That was swag from a local web developers conference I went to years back. The logo is of 36 Degrees North, a co-working space here in Tulsa
My favorite glass
Got me a frame for standing desk from Vivo. The table top from home depot. Desktop I've built and behind small monitor the red thingy is a laptop upright holder for my work laptop. We're all going back to the office now, but I used this for nearly a year, a bit more sad to return to the office but thankful to still have a job unlike many other unfortunate people.
Cabling still needs better management lol.
ps: I still need proper monitors, the left one is a super old 10 year monitor. Big one is a TV it isn't great for true color.
DOPE !!

Are those panels are for lighting?
Yep, you can read about my full setting on the blog post
Probably not a good idea to me lol I have to replace my 2GB laptop yet
😄
Sweet setups guys ♥️ These are my favourite kind of threads, I mean we spend the most of our time around our setups so they mean a lot!
engineering student desk be like ;
I use to have a VAIO to 😅
yes, it was a universal laptop :)
But its design sucks especially hinges. 😅

The vertical monitor. 👌🏼
What good do vertical monitors do?
I'm not quite sure what you're asking.
My desk. Main machine is on the floor under the desk. The machine on top is my 2nd that is used for a) opensips (development) b) kids gaming machine. I run 3 monitors (as seen of course) The kids get the 32-inch monitor for when they play Minecraft.
I want to lean it up and make it less cluttered.. lol
The boards on the machine up on the desktop are prototypes that I 'm working with (embedded linux) with serial consoles etc yadda yadda.. all good fun
The lighting 🥰😍
Been working from home since 2012. I prefer to stand as much as possible.
Here is mine. 😊
Wow
I don't use both screens at the same. The monitor's have been swapped out for Dell 27" USB-C 4K screens now
Home office setup for both myself and my partner for when we both worked from home in the past but now it's a perm setup for us both during Covid.

Here's my current setup, fully equipped with a space heater under the desk :)
My work from home setup!

Neat✨
Here's my current situation!
