What is research profile?

We have a wrong concept that only PhD or masters students can get them indulged to research works/ writing which is absolutely wrong. In this blog, I'm going to share every detail about crafting a research paper from first to last. Enjoy!

What is research profile? why one should care about having a strong research profile?

This thing can be thought of 5 aspects:

  • Research projects: It has very low value because doing projects and just adding it into your resume is not a big deal. Everybody has projects and they just add it to their resume. So it doesn't hold that much of value.

  • International Research Internship: It is valuable if there is tangible research outcome.

  • Papers: Having high quality journal paper. Then publishing it in conference and having patents. It has a really high value and makes really strong research profile.

Research papers are of some kinds:

  1. Journal paper with new result
  2. Literature review paper
  3. preprints : preprints are preliminary versions of a scientific manuscript that researchers share by posting to online platforms known as preprint servers before peer-review and publication in an academic journal.
