Mount pCloud as a Windows Drive Letter for 5.5

pCloud Without the Desktop App

pCloud is the Swiss cloud storage that emphasizes privacy and lifetime plans. 10 GB free, integrated with crypto, audio, and the rest of the pCloud ecosystem. The pCloud desktop sync app works on Windows, Mac, and Linux, but it eats your local disk and only mirrors what fits on your machine.

Mount pCloud as a Windows drive letter and you skip the desktop app. P: drive. Open files in any app, edit in place, save back. No sync, no cache, no upload button.

The WebDAV Trick

pCloud ships native WebDAV support on every account, including the free 10 GB tier. The endpoint is https://webdav.pcloud.com. Username: your pCloud account email. Password: your pCloud account password.

ScsDriver is a one-time fee:

  • Monthly: $1.5 (cancel any time)
  • Yearly: $5.5
  • Lifetime: $5.5 (single payment, yours forever)

That is not a typo. The lifetime plan costs the same as the yearly plan.

Mount P: in 60 Seconds

  1. Install ScsDriver and open it.
  2. Server: https://webdav.pcloud.com
  3. Username: your pCloud account email. Password: your pCloud account password.
  4. Pick a drive letter. P: is the obvious choice.
  5. Click Connect. pCloud is now P:.

What Works on P:

  • Open 1 GB video files from P: in VLC or DaVinci Resolve. Edit in place, save back. No download, no upload.
  • Mount pCloud alongside Google Drive, Dropbox, or any other WebDAV mount. ScsDriver supports multiple drives at once.
  • Cross-platform: if you are a Linux user with a Windows VM, you can mount your pCloud as P: on the Windows VM and access the same files from both.
  • pCloud's free tier gives you 10 GB. Mount that as P: drive and you have 10 GB of streaming cloud storage for free. That is enough for 2,000 documents, 100 videos, or 2 years of monthly backups.

Why pCloud, Not The Competition

pCloud Premium is 4.99 USD per 500 GB per month, or 49.99 USD per 500 GB lifetime. pCloud Premium Plus is 9.99 USD per 2 TB per month, or 99.99 USD per 2 TB lifetime.

Pair pCloud with ScsDriver at 5.5 USD lifetime, and you have a working cloud drive for the cost of half a month of pCloud Premium. The lifetime plan pays for itself in the first month.

Pricing Math

The monthly ScsDriver plan is $1.5. After 4 months you have paid $6. The lifetime plan is $5.5. From month 5 onward, the lifetime plan is free.

If you keep the tool for 6 months, lifetime saves you 50 cents per month. Over 5 years, lifetime saves you 90 dollars.

pCloud Ecosystem Bonus

pCloud is the cloud storage platform that ships native WebDAV out of the box on every account. Mounting pCloud as a WebDAV drive preserves the pCloud ecosystem integration because files sync back to my.pcloud.com, the pCloud mobile apps, and any other device signed in to your account. Edit a video file on P: drive, and the change appears in my.pcloud.com within seconds.

A Final Note

pCloud is the cloud storage platform that ships WebDAV out of the box on every account, including the free 10 GB tier. No gateway, no proxy, no custom WAF rule. Just the URL, your pCloud account, and ScsDriver. Mount your pCloud today: https://drive.scsoi.com/
