Today, we're launching VaultKey by Securelytix.
We built VaultKey around a simple problem:
Your database can be secure, but what happens to sensitive data after your application sends it somewhere else?
Modern applications move data through APIs, AI models, agents, tools, logs, analytics, and third-party services.
A customer's email, phone number, PAN, or other sensitive information can end up in multiple places along the way.
That's where VaultKey comes in.
The idea
Instead of sending the original sensitive value downstream, VaultKey replaces it with a secure token.

The original value remains protected inside the vault.
When the real value is actually required, an authorized request can retrieve it through detokenization.

This means applications can continue processing data without every downstream system needing access to the original PII.
Built for modern applications
VaultKey isn't limited to AI.
It's designed for applications where sensitive data moves across:
- APIs
- AI agents
- LLM workflows
- Third-party services
- Application logs
- Analytics systems
The goal is straightforward:
Keep raw sensitive data out of systems that don't need it.
We're live today and would love feedback from developers building applications that handle sensitive data.

If you're working on AI security, API security, data privacy, or developer infrastructure, we'd especially love to hear how you're currently handling this problem.
