How to create a vs code extension #2 (Setup)

After creating template your folder setup should look similar to this

  1. /vscode

    • This directory contains Visual Studio Code (VS Code) workspace-specific configuration files. -launch.json - This file is used to configure debugging settings for the extension. It defines how the extension should be launched and debugged within VS Code.
  2. /syntaxes

    • This directory contains files related to syntax for the Miniscript language. (Mostly Highlighting) -miniscript.tmLanguage.json - This file defines the syntax highlighting rules for Miniscript in VS Code.
  3. language-configuration.json

    • This file defines language-specific configurations for Miniscript in VS Code.
  4. package.json

    • This is the manifest file for the VS Code extension. it contains meta data
