I will recommend you to use tabnine (VS Code) it has the GPT4 also has extra benifits.
But at the end of the day GPT4 is paid and may be in future they will ask for membership.
So, I will suggest you to use ollama with custom models like mistral or llama2 or any free alternative as mentioned.
