I'm definitely overthinking this first blog post, but here we go. In the beginning of this program I was so excited to learn a new skill, switch career paths, connect with new people following the same path as I. Then I had several things happen that slowed the process down for me, made me lose motivation. I'm slowly but surely gaining that motivation back. I want nothing more than to become a successful coder.
Right now, I'm learning the basics of JavaScript. Creating functions and seeing your code actually works gives me such a proud feeling. It may not be a big deal to others, but it is to me. I don't know much as of now, but I cannot wait to get further into this program and look back on this post to see how much I have learned from now.
