Thanks for mentioning my plugin in this post, glad it helped! :)
I would like to mention 2 points more, maybe for somebody that may be useful:

• you can enable "typeDefinitionOnSave" which enables auto regenerating of type definitions for custom commands when file is saved.
• Cypress Helper plugin is not maintained any more, but there is a forked Cypress Helper v2.
