We're building VynelixAI Agent Studio at VynelixAI, and we're sharing an early look at our development journey.
Our goal is to create a workspace where developers can visually design workflows, configure their components, and inspect the underlying configuration in one place.
Rather than presenting this as a finished product, we want to share what we're building, explain our technical approach, and learn from the developer community.
What does the workspace look like?
The current interface brings several development tools together:
Visual workflow canvas: A workspace for arranging workflow nodes and their connections.
Node library: A panel for exploring available triggers, AI components, and other workflow building blocks.
YAML editor: A view for inspecting and editing the workflow configuration.
Python and Notebook options: Interface options for working with code and notebooks.
Workspace Brain: A panel designed to let users ask questions about the current workspace.
Validation and execution controls: Controls for checking and running workflows as development progresses.
The screenshot above shows our current development interface. Some functionality is still being tested, and we're continuing to improve the experience.
What we're exploring
We're working toward a unified development environment for AI-agent workflows and data-engineering pipelines.
One of the interesting challenges is keeping the visual workflow and its underlying configuration consistent. Another is making validation errors and execution results easy for developers to understand and troubleshoot.
These details matter because a workflow editor needs to do more than look good: developers need to understand what their workflows will do and how to debug them when something goes wrong.
We're looking for Contributors and developer feedback
VynelixAI Agent Studio is currently under active development, and we'd love to connect with developers who are interested in AI agents, workflow automation, and data engineering.
We're looking for open-source contributors who can share ideas, suggest useful features, help improve the project, and provide technical feedback.
If you're interested in contributing or sharing your thoughts, explore our GitHub repository:
