Vercel free tier. Supabase free tier. Clerk free tier. Resend free tier.
Sounds like $0/month until you actually launch. Then you hit limits. Vercel wants $20. Supabase wants $25. Clerk wants $25. Suddenly your "free" stack costs $70/month and you have zero customers.
Most solo founders discover this after launch. Bad time to find out.
The Problem
Modern dev tools all have generous free tiers. So generous that you never think about cost during development. Then you get real users and every service upgrades at the same time.
Nobody tracks this proactively. I checked. There are generic startup cost calculators from Upwork and the SBA. None of them know what Vercel or Supabase costs. They ask about "office rent" and "employee salaries." Not useful for a developer shipping a SaaS.
