I'm a longtime .NET/C# developer who really likes the modern JavaScript world, particularly React.js.
I'm more interested in testing than the average developer, and have several .NET unit testing helper packages on NuGet: nuget.org/profiles/BrianSchroer
I've put a LOT of work into making automated web testing work with Selenium in the past and am thrilled to be able to throw it all away now and use Cypress.io instead, which makes that stuff pretty easy.
I don't blog often, but when I did, it was on Medium. You probably know all the arguments about why dev.to is a better home for technical bloggers than Medium.
I've been coding for a very, very, very long time (coming up on 40 years - I was pretty young when I started getting paid for this) and it's still fun.
Old dogs can learn new tricks. I'm proud to say that I have 40 years of experience, not one year of experience 40 times.
