The first type of pets that come to mind when people start thinking about getting an animal are dogs and cats. However, there is another creature that has recently become popular.
These animals are docile, smart, and sociable. Under proper conditions, they recognise their owners, like staying close to humans, and even show excitement upon seeing the person they like. Most of them tend to follow their owner around, ask for caresses, and spend time together.
