I built a free study-abroad database from 62 governments' official pages. First dataset: proof of funds for a student visa

Studies Multiverse is a side project: a free guide to studying abroad where every figure comes from an official source and carries the date it was checked. It runs on Cloudflare Workers and D1, with about 31,000 institutions from national registers and 62 country guides.

The first dataset I'm publishing on its own is the one students ask about most: how much money a student visa asks you to prove you have.

Bar chart: money a student visa asks you to show per year, 36 countries, in euro

36 of the 62 countries publish a fixed yearly amount; for the other 26 the guide explains what the embassy asks for instead. The spread is 13x: Iceland asks for about EUR 22,900 a year, Indonesia about EUR 1,800 (USD 2,000).

The table, with a link to each government page and the date checked: https://studiesmultiverse.com/guides/proof-of-funds-by-country/

The data is CC BY 4.0 and there is a JSON API at https://studiesmultiverse.com/api/v1/ if you want to build on it. Corrections welcome: every figure links to its source, so they are easy to check.
