Endocrine testing showed a panhypopituitarism, and pathology confirmed a pituitary apoplexy in a gonadotropin-secreting macroadenoma. No malignant cells were detected. Molecular imaging could have an important role in the detection and characterization of pituitary tumors.
18F-FDG PET/CT has been found useful for the detection of the source of infection/inflammation in the body. Platelet-rich plasma is a new treatment modality in which plasma is injected subdermally or intradermally for potential hair regrowth into the scalp. We report a case of 43-year-old woman with right breast cancer who underwent surgery, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy 2 years ago and is currently on hormonal therapy. 18F-FDG PET/CT demonstrate incidental findings of increased FDG avidity in the scalp after platelet-rich plasma therapy.

Diffuse cutaneous angiosarcomas are rare. Hippo inhibitor Herein, we reported FDG PET/CT findings of cutaneous angiosarcoma in a 59-year-old man. FDG PET/CT imaging was performed for staging, showing diffuse intense FDG uptake with an SUVmax of 19 in the scalp and face. Chemotherapy was recommended for this patient because surgery and radiotherapy were not appropriate due to the widespread skin involvement. Our case suggests that cutaneous angiosarcoma can present with diffuse skin involvement, and FDG PET/CT plays an important role in determining the treatment plan to avoid unnecessary surgery and radiotherapy.

We present a pediatric case with T-cell lymphoblastic leukemia and persistent chylothorax who was referred to lymphoscintigraphy to identify the site of leakage. Planar lymphoscintigraphy with SPECT/CT revealed hot spots at the left jugulovenous angle and the confluens of the vena brachiocephalica to vena cava, which were compatible with the sites of leakage. Hybrid imaging with SPECT/CT technique have great impact on accurate detection of the defects in the lymphatic system in patients with chylothorax.

Central pontine myelinolysis (CPM) is demyelinating condition of pons caused by osmotic stress due to rapid correction of hyponatremia. We present a case where CPM was an incidental finding on FDG PET/CT scan. To the best of our knowledge, only 3 case reports have been published till date describing CPM on 18F-FDG PET/CT scans.

We created our first national clinical protocol of 177Lu-CXCR4 therapy for patient who have failed to respond to current therapy options. We also calculated the kidney, liver, and tumor dosimetry. The kidney's mean absorbed dose was calculated to be 0.45 Gy/GBq, the calculated radiation absorbed dose of the liver was 0.63 Gy/GBq, and the radiation absorbed doses of the tumors vary between 9.2 and 82 Gy/GBq. 177Lu-CXCR4 therapy produced a promising clinical response in our patient in acceptable radiation dose limits as a treatment option in heavily pretreated patients with advanced multiple myeloma.

To assess the prevalence of relationship distress and burnout among PICU nurses.
Cross-sectional, web-based survey.
Pediatric intensive care nursing practices in the United States.
Pediatric intensive care nurses.
None.
A total of 254 pediatric intensive care nurses in the United States completed the survey consisting of demographic data, practice, and personal characteristics, Revised Dyadic Adjustment Scale, and modified Maslach Burnout Inventory. Relationship distress in consensus was noted in 45.6% of participants, and 26.3% reported distress in relationship satisfaction. Moderate to high burnout was reported by 65% nurses in the emotional exhaustion domain, 43% in depersonalization, and 27% of nurses reported low personal accomplishment. A significant difference in relationship satisfaction was found among nurses identified in different domains of burnout, showing that nurses who scored higher in depersonalization also reported higher distress in relationship satisfaction (p = 0.045). Interestingly, nurses who reported high personal accomplishment (thereby less burnout) reported higher distress in relationship consensus (p = 0.Hippo inhibitor
