Where the wild things are written by Maurice Sendak is a story of a naughty little boy named Max, who is sent off to bed without eating anything. That night Max’s bedroom changes, and sails across the water to an island where the wild thing is. Max, with his bold personality, is made the king of the wild things where they dance and play. But then max decides that he is missing home and sails back home and finds a warm supper waiting in his bedroom.

4. Spouts: The whale Who Saved Christmas
Spouts: The Whale Who Saved Christmas is penned by Captain Philip Howe is a book based on his sailing adventures of the South Seas and Tropical Island. The story is about a whale who is different from all the other whales in the sea and is called by Santa to save Christmas as his reindeers are terribly sick to fly him across the world in one night. But spouts come to save Christmas only to become the first whale to fly.

5. The tale of peter rabbit
Written by Beatrix Potter, The Tale of Peter Rabbit is an old British story about the rabbit named Peter. Peter disobeys his mother and goes in the garden of Mr McGregor, who sees him and chases after him. Peter narrowly escapes the chase and hurries back to his mother. His mother tucks him into bed and then rewards his obedient sister a delicious meal.

6. Cinderella
A classic fairytale about a young girl who is treated cruelly by her stepsisters and stepmother, but eventually leads a happy and eventful life. While most people know Cinderella from the classic Disney movie, this fairy tale dates back to the 1600s. After finding her prince charming in the ball, Cinderella finds her true love at last.
