A.I. Threats and Trying to Move to Web3 - My Idea

The amazing potential for good with AI is also coupled with some very serious dangers and inevitable challenges.

I am concerned that most companies are focusing on profiting from AI rather than making it safe.

To combat this, I wanted to start a company that helps drive the implementation of some useful tools that we already have – namely “Web3 tools” like decentralized identifiers, zero knowledge proofs, and the use of blockchains.

Below is a business pitch for my company that seeks to use these tools to make an interoperable ecosystem for Web3 that is easy to use.

I am hoping to start some conversations around this idea I've been working on and get some feedback. If you want to know more or are interested in helping out, checkout the website here: Project MyData

Also, very much looking to hear anybody’s thoughts on Artificial Intelligence in general.

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

My Business / Service Pitch:

FoFo Network: A Decentralized Solution to AI, Automation, and Web3 Challenges

Concerns such as the impact of automation on job displacement, mass phishing/scams conducted via AI, copyright and privacy concerns in generative AI, data mining and brokering, confusion around Web3 technology, and lack of accessibility to automation and AI tools for small businesses are real threats.

The FoFo Network

Sweet Papa Technologies LLC (SPT) has come up with an approach to help address these problems: the FoFo Network, a decentralized infrastructure that aims to offer solutions to all these challenges.

The proposed set of solutions include providing mechanisms for:

  • Tracking and quantifying the effects of automation on job displacement
  • Providing tax credits or debits based on automation usage
  • Detecting malicious content through Decentralized Identifiers (DIDs)
  • Marking and blocking derivative works via the blockchain
  • Allowing users to opt-out of having their data sold
  • Providing tools to abstract complexity of dealing with Web3
  • Providing common-purpose services that are affordable and practical for small businesses.

An Abstraction Layer

The FoFo Network is an implementation of Hyperledger Indy and various Web3 technologies to make a scalable and secure way for data to be owned and tracked by the creators of that data.

Additionally, this project focuses on providing tools to make working with Web3 concepts as easy as possible for developers.

The FoFo Network ecosystem offers various use cases, including Web3 Onboarding and Implementation through FoFo SDK and FoFo Admin SDK, tracking content created across the web, hashing content for security and privacy, and using zero knowledge proofs to verify information without revealing additional data.

Developers can integrate with the FoFo Network using the FoFo SDK and FoFo Admin SDK, which allow them to provision wallets for users in-app, while receipts write metadata to the ledger about how content can be used. The network also allows for certification of data and messages by hashing them and committing the hashes to the blockchain, and Sweet Papa Technologies plans to build a plugin for email apps that validates messages against the FoFo Network database.

Working Together

We plan to explore partnerships with existing service providers and data brokers, offer incentives for adoption, and explore alternative revenue models. Providing comprehensive documentation, training, and support for the AI tools and services provided to small businesses may also help.

The FoFo Network seeks to revolutionize the AI, automation, and Web3 industries by helping bridge the gap between Web2 and Web3.

By providing a decentralized infrastructure, FoFo Network will solve challenges that have plagued these industries for years. Are you excited about FoFo Network? Do you have thoughts about AI? Check out our website to learn more!
