Japanglish Tech Talk #1 Presentation Introduction

Hi There! This is Tamtam.

I'm organizing "Japanglish Tech" event with Naru.

What is Japanglish Tech Talk?

This is an English-only LT event for engineers held in Tokyo, Japan!

It is difficult to speak English in Japan because most conversations are in Japanese.

With this in mind, we are organizing this event to provide a casual opportunity to speak at an LT event in Tokyo.

Japanglish Tech Talk #1 Presentation :-D

We had our first Japanglish Tech Talk on June 19, 2024.

So I will briefly share the presentation.

Thank you to Ichizoku and RAKSUL for their sponsorship!

Generate Android App UI with Gemini

Describes the "Gemini" feature introduced at Google I/O 2024.

we look forward to future improvements such as the accuracy of the design details not matching what we had imagined, lack of image input options, and initial compilation errors.

Building My First Infrastructure The way from EC2 to ECS

Introduces efforts to containerize PHP/Laravel web applications and migrate them from EC2 to ECS.

Future focus on improving log management methods, security response knowledge, and infrastructure operations skills within the team.

Replaced the app with Next.js, Golang and Auth0 20240619

Presents the experience of building an engineering team and replacing an existing application with modern technology.

I especially sympathize with the user data migration story.

htmx for backend engineer

It shows how back-end engineers who are not good at front-end development can easily build interactive web applications using htmx.

※ Other presentations will be shared later!

The next event will also be held!

The total number of participants exceeded 30, and we connected with people willing to volunteer in the future.

We are planning to hold this event regularly due to the demand! XD
