I don't get the fuss around competitive programming. Like you can learn about software development better if you just play with each and every concepts. Like suppose forEach method in JavaScript or callback function if you read articles practice and implement them in a project you can better understand them. But yup many software forms need critical thinkers they have the luxury to train them into very good developers. But I feel it's better to learn about concepts such as writing clean code ,SOLiD principles,System design,DS n Algorithm are more.effective when you learn for.performance optimization. Anyways great article
