I'm currently researching different types of solutions for this exact problem. The products you mention in your post are the same products that keep coming up in my good ol’ google-fu (I love it!). After reading, I think Contentful and Netlify are definitely in my future, all though I'm currently loving Vue so I'm probably inserting Nuxt.js. What sucks is Vuepress just isn't there yet for blogging so I am going to lose some of the magic that you are getting from Gatsby.js.
