What Is Stopping Nigeria From Building More of Its Own Technology?

Nigeria has a growing developer community and an expanding digital economy. Yet, much of the infrastructure, hardware, software platforms, and technical tools used across the country are imported or depend heavily on foreign providers.

This creates an important engineering and ecosystem question:

Why is Nigeria producing more technology users and developers than locally owned, scalable technology products?
