Hey everyone! πΈ
So, recently I was thinking about something and thought Iβd share it with you all. π I really love writing down good thoughts and ...

Atleast you got a better writing than me and my big brother who's Software Engineer too! π
Way better than mine too! π
I donβt think anyone could do it better than you!
You mean my handwriting? Lol no, pretty awful! When I write (handwriting) I tend to use block letters to keep it somewhat readable ...
oh, hell nah mine is even worse because isn't even block writing it's better to say hieroglyphics
I donβt know why, but Iβm laughing so much. π€£
I think the idea to keep a book of thoughts is good, but the ones that seem interesting to me are the ones that are less important. ~
The things I save are usually the ones that are helpful for me one day, but i need to see them again some other time.
So it will be helpful for me to keep track of all my thoughts.
Iβve collected quite a few thoughts over the years, but one of the simplest ones has stayed with me:
βNot everything that can be optimized should be optimized.β
I learned this through technology first, but eventually realized it applies to life too.
We spend so much time trying to make everything faster, better, more efficient, more productive⦠and sometimes we optimize the joy right out of it.
Some things are meant to be slow. Some mistakes are worth making. Some moments donβt need a purpose or a measurable result.
Efficiency is a great tool β just not a great way to measure a life. π
This is such a profound thoughtβperfect for my notebook. Thank you so much. β€οΈ :D
One from my side of the world. I'm Igbo, from Nigeria:
π³π¬ Ihe kwuru, ihe akwudobe ya.
"Wherever something stands, something else stands beside it."
Nothing exists on its own, and there's never only one way of seeing a thing. Chinua Achebe used it often and put it plainly once: if there's one point of view, there will be a second one.
It's a quiet one, but it changes how you argue. You start asking what you're not seeing instead of defending what you already think. β¨
Nice, that's a really cool idea to write those down in your notebook! I recognized a couple there ... what about these ones:
He or she who does not appreciate the little things in life
is not worthy of the big things!
An apple a day keeps the doctor away :-)
Life is short - never postpone enjoying it!
Thereβs a lot of depth in these words π«
"You have power over your mind not outside events. Realize this, and you will find strength."
Nice line ππ»
