I'm not arguing that a full stack dev does 2x the work of a front or back, or has to know 2x the amount of technologies.
I do argue that there is a lot of room in the middle, and there are millions of developers who work with both front-end and back-end technologies and to dismiss them as a "myth", "lie", or a "scam" is absurd.
I did take another look at salary just to quadruple check and it does look like Front-End is still getting the short-end of the stick. It's really difficult to compare though because (anecdotally) most job postings I'm seeing don't list as front, back, or full. It's also interesting to see how many "front-end" jobs list back-end technologies like PHP or MySQL.
