I’d like to add js2-mode — that’s what I lost when we switched to TS. Losing that hurt a lot, because it is much, much snappier than any other tool I’ve seen since.
Also the one environment without support that you mention — the browser — is actually at least three environments: Chromium, Firefox, and Safari. These are what users will most likely be using, so that’s where you have to test.
