Hi everyone,
I recently launched a new tech blog where I write mainly about AI, machine learning, and software engineering topics. The content is written in English, but I’m based in South Korea.
I’m trying to understand how international traffic growth usually works.
If my goal is to increase visitors from outside my country, does that mainly come from attracting more readers who are already based in those countries (for example, US or Europe)? Or are there other important factors I should be focusing on early on?
For those of you who have grown an audience internationally:
• Did it happen naturally over time through search?
• Or did you actively promote your blog in specific communities or platforms?
• Is being physically located in a certain country relevant at all?
I’m still early in the process and trying to learn what actually matters versus what doesn’t.
Any advice or personal experience would be really appreciated. Thanks!
