I recently started learning Swift on my own, and from all the great free courses out there, I decided to go with the 100 Days of Swift by Paul Hudson, creator of Hacking With Swift channel on YouTube.
I find it easy to follow and well structured. The topics covered are broken down into small sections that include a short explanatory video, a written summary, and a short assessment.
Expectations
My goal is to learn the basics of Swift and to be able to create my own projects within a month. It sounds challenging but I am not going to start from zero. I have full-stack experience using JavaScript, including frameworks and libraries, so I'm expecting to have a relatively smooth transition into Swift.
Course Distribution
The course is divided into 100 challenges or topics meant to be studied respectively, but I hope to be doing the equivalent to 3 or 4 days in one.
The Blog
As a memorization exercise I will be writing about the topics learnt during the day with brief and simplified explanations hoping that it helps someone in the future starting with this journey.
Let's do this.
