The Magic of Multi-Cursors in VS Code

If you find yourself manually renaming variables across ten different lines, you’re working harder than you need to. In VS Code, you can hit Ctrl+D (or Cmd+D on Mac) to select the next occurrence of the word your cursor is currently on. It’s a total game-changer for quick refactoring when you don't want to trigger a full workspace rename.

If you want to place cursors manually in specific spots, hold Alt (or Option) and click wherever you need to type. It feels like a superpower when you can update an entire list of constants or change multiple object properties with a single stroke. Once you get the muscle memory down, you'll wonder how you ever coded without it.
