Slack: Turn off sending and receiving notification sound.

Steps:

  1. Click on your profile picture.
  2. Go to Preferences.
  3. Go to Accessibility tab.
  4. Scroll and look for "Direct message announcements"
  5. Un-check both:
  • Play a sound when you send a message
  • Play a sound when you receive a direct message
