Today, I'd like to share two different UI designs for our AssanSafar online seat booking platform and get your feedback.
Personally, I think the right-side UI (green border) provides a better user experience. The main reason is that the trip search form is placed at the top of the page, allowing users to start searching for trips immediately without unnecessary scrolling. This can help improve the booking experience and potentially increase conversion rates.
The left-side UI (red border) features a large hero slider. While it looks attractive, it pushes the booking form further down the page, which may require users to scroll before they can search for a trip. That extra step could impact conversions.
As developers and designers, our goal isn't just to build beautiful interfaces—it's to create experiences that make it easier for users to complete their journey.
