Journey Begins: Google Cloud Get Certified Program Edition 2 (2026)

The cloud computing ecosystem is growing rapidly, and certifications are becoming an important way for developers, engineers, and tech enthusiasts to validate their skills. Recently, I secured my spot in the Google Cloud Get Certified Program – Edition 2 (2026), and with the program beginning in just over a week, the excitement is definitely building.

What is the Google Cloud Get Certified Program?

The Google Cloud Get Certified Program is designed to help learners prepare for Google Cloud certifications through guided learning paths, training sessions, labs, and hands-on exercises. It provides participants with structured access to cloud learning resources and practical environments to strengthen their technical understanding.

Edition 2 officially starts during the weeks of June 8 or June 15, 2026, depending on the assigned learning path and cohort schedule. Participants will receive invitations to their opening classes through email from Google Cloud’s training partners during the week of June 1.

One thing to note is that class assignments are fixed and sessions will not be recorded, making attendance highly valuable for staying aligned with the program.

What Happens in Stage 1?

Following the opening session, participants receive 7 days of access to learning platforms, labs, and training exercises required to qualify for Stage 2.
