Hey everyone! ๐
Just wanted to share a small win โ Iโve completed my first Linux course as part of my DevOps journey. ๐ง
I started with the basics: terminal commands, file management, permissions, and a bit of scripting.
Why Linux?
Because itโs everywhere in DevOps โ servers, containers, cloud. Itโs like the home base, so I knew I had to start here.
If youโre also starting out, here are a few free resources I found super helpful:
๐น The Linux Command Line book โ linuxcommand.org/tlcl.php
๐น Linux Journey (fun and simple) โ linuxjourney.com
๐น FreeCodeCamp YouTube video โ search "Linux crash course freecodecamp"
๐น Codecademy CLI basics โ codecademy.com
๐น Ubuntu command line guide โ ubuntu.com/tutorials/command-line-for-beginners
Next, Iโm going to explore Git and shell scripting. Excited to keep learning and building step by step.
If you're also learning DevOps, letโs connect. We can share tips and support each other. This is all part of learning in public. :)
