UUID v4 and UUID v7 are both widely useful, but they are designed with different characteristics.

• Randomly generated
• Simple and widely supported
• Great for general-purpose identifiers
• Does not contain a timestamp
• Useful for APIs, applications and distributed systems

🔹 UUID v7
• Contains a Unix timestamp
• Naturally sortable by time
• Useful for modern databases
• Helps with time-based ordering
• Suitable for applications where chronological ordering matters
