I don't think price is a fair metric to use as one of the best VPN's on the market is cheap and knocks all of the others out of the water in terms of taking privacy seriously (a fundamental concept so few providers seem to grasp).

What you want to look out for is...

  • Zero logging policy.
  • Independent audits.
  • Transparency (what they do to keep you secure).
  • No/minimal account information (one 99% fail on).

Other than that stay away from FREE VPN's and if you really want reviews then thatoneprivacysite.net really knows their stuff.

I just run algo on the cheapest VPS I can find (US$2.50 - 5.00). It's really easy to set up and you don't have to trust any 'we totes won't log all your stuff' VPN companies.

Dont you think can privacy be a cheap bait. Because VPN is a tool to maintain digital privacy, right? So reliable and good VPNs are not usually cheap becasue of their outstanding features and strict logging policy.

And yes I completly agree with Nathaniel, we have to look those 4 points that are mentioned by Nathaniel — mostly logging policy.

And yes, Dont uses free VPNs, The IP address offered by free VPNs are already blacklisted. You can go to Reviewsed.com for upto date information about VPN.
