I think the thing that I didn't mention that really cemented that not much had changed was looking at what was looking at the finished proposals from the ecmascript repo and skimming what was added in the past year and a half (github.com/tc39/proposals/blob/mas...). I hope modernizing your JavaScript knowledge goes well!
