Hi DEV Community! I'm viralvida, and I focus on pushing the boundaries of AI video generation.
For my first project, I wanted to create a short, emotionally compelling 45-second cinematic story about a relationship where a woman financially backs her boyfriend's dreams until they build an empire together.
Here is the exact prompt workflow and structure I used to keep the scene transitions realistic.
The Script & AI Prompts
Scene 1: The Struggle
- Prompt: Cinematic, dramatic lighting. A young man sitting at a messy wooden desk late at night, looking stressed and exhausted. He is staring at a laptop screen with financial charts. Warm desk lamp light, shallow depth of field, 4k, photorealistic.
Scene 2: The Support
- Prompt: Over-the-shoulder shot. A young woman walks up behind her boyfriend at his desk. She smiles gently and places a thick stack of cash and a credit card right next to his laptop. Soft, emotional lighting, cinematic look.
Scene 3: The Hard Work
- Prompt: Fast-paced montage style. A young man and a young woman working hard together inside a bright, modern empty office space. They are unboxing equipment, writing ideas on a glass whiteboard. Daytime, energetic, 4k.
Scene 4: The Success
- Prompt: Sharp focus, cinematic tracking shot. The same man, now looking confident and successful, wearing a tailored navy blue suit. He is walking through a sleek, high-end corporate office, smiling. Professional studio lighting.
Scene 5: The Payoff
- Prompt: Emotional wide shot. The successful man tightly hugs his girlfriend in front of a luxury modern house. He hands her a sleek key fob with a smile. Warm golden hour sunlight, slow motion, cinematic, 4k.
Key Challenges & Solutions
The biggest hurdle in generative video is maintaining character consistency. To solve this, I recommend generating static target character reference images first, then utilizing an Image-to-Video pipeline on platforms like Luma Dream Machine or Kling AI rather than relying entirely on text-to-video.
