We discussed the idea of giving both users and restaurants profiles like Yelp. We decided to let go of the "rate the server" idea due to concerns about moderating comments and ratings. Instead, we considered turning the app into a food-social media platform.
Tong proposed adding a section called "Today's Event Near Me" to the app, where restaurants could post their events and push notifications could be sent to users. The goal was to provide more exposure to local restaurants and encourage user interaction with them.
Finally we discussed the idea and decided to rewrite the project proposal for the social app with added features.
