I'm researching RJ45 connector requirements for regulated industries and found big differences between sectors:
Energy (IEC 61850): Heavy EMI from HV switching, wide temp range, IP67 for outdoor
Railway (EN 50155): Constant vibration, fire safety standards, shock resistance
Medical (IEC 60601): Stringent isolation, chemical cleaning resistance, patient safety
The connector specs that work for one sector can be completely wrong for another.
Any engineers working in these industries — what's your go-to RJ45 connector and why?
